Is N/NS using major/minor league replicas again? I think that's been a great move. I see a lot more kids wearing them to school and around town (as compared to the years we went with something else). It might cost $5.00 more per jersey but I think it's worth it to the kids. I think they take a lot more pride in their unis when they look like the "big guys."

Yes we're going with major and minor league replicas again this year. I agree a 100% Since we returned to the replicas I've seen many many more kids wearing them around town.
We actually refer to the teams by their names instead of the sponsor's name. I don't think a shirt that says Turlock or Shutter & Shades on the front would be too appealing to a kid. We had a couple people (sponsors) Hottie when we went to the replicas but that only proved who was sponsoring for the wrong reasons.
I sure hope A/AE isn't going back to the old style sponsor shirt with its pressed on letters. I can't believe that your uniform chair's memory is so short he/she can't remember how overwhelmingly supportive the kids were when we went to replicas.
Hello McFly?! If it ain't broke don't fix it!

It sounds like Chris has been tipped off to someone on our side going with a different uniform scheme. It wouldn't shock me if they did away with the replicas, since we can't use the "it's for the kids" argument anymore then maybe we can use "it's about the money" to appease our sponsors. I would like to see the teams on both sides change their teams to match the respective leagues.

Chris or anyone from N/NS... How much did you pay for your jerseys this year? Hats? Besides that what else re: uniform do you provide for your kids?
