The ballot for this year's nominees has just been released. One tine "future" hall of famer Rafael Palmeiro is in his first year of eligibility along with other players of notoriety. Who Will make it this go 'round and who will get the snub again?

ROBERTO ALOMAR is the only one i would vote for..........should have made it last year IMO

I'd have to vote for McGriff. If 493 jacks don't get you in the hall I don't know what does Plus he was a great guy and has never been mentioned as a 'roid user... I think he's the only one on the list that is a no-doubter. Some of the others have strong cases but are not clear-cut.

Where's the love for Barry Larkin and Alan Trammell? There are pro's and con's to everyone on this years list but the biggest con would be......Don Mattingly. We don't need anymore frickin Yankees in the Hall of Fame.
As for McGriff....numbers say yes but might have flown under the radar and bounced around too much for the voters to recognize his accomplishments.
Alomar....yes but the spitting incident will hurt him.
I'd give Bagwell the nod as well but I can't think of him without remembering Larry Anderson. He was the second worse trade in Red Sox history.
