Can anyone recommend a good wood bat? Zach has broken 2 this year. The bats weren't cheap, at least not $ wise. Or could it be the way he is holding it. Also are the wood/comp. bats legal to use in wood bat only tournaments?

comp bats are legal to use in just about everything except pro ball..............just go get some brett bats.....they are cheaper than the rest and last a long time.........follow the link.......if you can get a couple other guys to come in with you and buy 6 or so bats you can get a better deal.......this guy has some of the better prices around on wood bats
All Brett bats are $65 per bat, $59 if you buy 6 or more, except Gobon #5 Bat, price is listed separetly

personally i like the BWP Rock Maple bats best, for games.............and the Brett bats are good too, but those would do wonders in BP/practice because they take a beating..................if you call the guy and talk to him and talk about lower shipping and such he is pretty negotiable on his overall price if you get multiple bats.......he had no problem with me mixing and matching BWP/BRETT bats in my orders..........

Just finished hitting with new maple bamboo. What a great bat. Zach wants to use it instead of his CF4 in our game tues. Thank you Mark for the recommendation and the people at Brett bats were awesome.

My boys have tried all kinds of wood batts over the last 6-7 years. Best value and performance by far is baum bat. Brett bats do last a long time, baum bats just as long or longer but performance much better. For $190 they'll last until they outgrow them. baumbat.com
