Travel Baseball Rules would be: He would be considered a 13u player as of Aug. 1, 2010. And he could play 13u until Next July 31, 2011. Metal Cleats are ok for 13u and higher. Any size bat is ok. Now if it's little league your talking about, someone else will have to comment. L Boullion www.TPRbaseball.com

Hey Chris what about HS are there rules regarding bat size maximums or minimums? I'm buying Zach a new bat. Also whats the hot bat this year? He used Catalyts the last 4 years for LL and loves them. He has been using a CF4 the last 2 years for travel ball. Anyone else with suggestions? He's in 8th grade.

In HS he will be using a -3 and JMO use wood.... if you can hit that well, just think what he will do with any other type of bat
