With the talent Turlock has a typical fan could coach them to a 27-0 record.

Turlock is good and has plenty of talent....they are the cream of the CCC..........but i dont think they have the necessary talent to go deep into the playoffs.....jmo...

They are the cream of the greater Modesto/Merced area so if we don't go far neither will anyone else. Granted, the public schools always have trouble with the scholarship aka private schools but I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better public school team in the area. I can't think of a team that has better D, a more potent line-up, and with Voumard up a deeper pitching staff. The team plays together well, is void of any attitudes, and has a roster of good kids with years of experience on the TB circuit. I can't think of a more well rounded team in the area... so Mark I hope they surprise you.

Congrats Rodney on Nick getting pulled up. I remember the struggles back in the early Ranger days. I don't know of a kid who has worked harder on his game and he definately deserves it. Good luck THS!

I'm sure the boys look forward to the challenge, thx for the insight.
BTW I didn't think Juniors were considered underclassmen... that's the only grade that we have "several" of on the team.

Mark, I too got caught up in the moment. With your help, I did some fact checking......It doesn't look good for Turlock after round 1. It should be quite a ride and I hope they make history.

Don't under estimate Pitman even though the coaches there inflate errors for hits. They are a better team than last year, and no one has seen the strength of their arms yet. They still have not started to peek yet and are barely starting to gel. And they have depth in all areas as long as their coaches use that talent wisely they will go deep in the playoffs.
