I can't stand it. Can a batter/runner really be out twice on the same play? Who will be coaching the teams next week? Please tell me the ejections will be reviewed.

I got this second hand myself but . . . Mendonca had already been tossed by the kid umpire who doesn't belong on a field . . . THS has bases loaded with one out. Batter strikes out and runs to first drawing the throw and runs over the first baseman trying to make the catch. . . Umpire calls the kid out on the strike out and again on the interference call but scores the run.
Cornell gets tossed for aguing the call then Coach Moreno from PHS gets tossed for agruing on behalf of THS. The umpire having lost all control suspends the game and walks off the field.

It was a three ring circus. I have never seen anything like this in my life. Mendo gets tossed and gets a standing ovation from both Pitman and Turlock fans which might have pissed off the umpire. Then Cody Brackett hit a laser down the third base line which was fair by three feet and the blue calls it foul, Moreno then questions the call only to be put on "Double Secret Probation" or as the chumpire called it "Restriction" and was told to remain in the dugout for the remainder of the game. Then the play Chris describes happens and Cornell takes the award for the funniest ejection ever. Then Moreno tells the blue he's wrong and Cornell is right......only this umpire could make these two schools forget about a friendly rivalry and come together as one to share a good laugh. I'll bet both teams will battle for their coaches from this point on, knowing their coaches have their backs. BTW- The ump should not be on the field for more than one reason.

Back to Little League where they support this guy's antics. American was smart and said no to this guy a few years ago though that might have changed.
