Been out of the loop so just curious what's going on with Little League? Heard they are not doing inter-league w/ National? Why not? Too bad, it was a great thing.
Is the league down or up players? Have they added/cut teams in Majors?
I heard each side is going to have one all star team? Didn't think that was legal?
Losing players to travel ball?
How's Juniors & Seniors looking???

Here is goes,
Vinny is 12 and I have 1 more year. The Cubs are still the Cubs and looking good. They tried to make us change but I resisted. Booz is hammering the ball and with most the pitching talent from last 2 years moving on I like our chances of making the play offs. Both leagues have condensed to 1 league and will field half the all-star teams. Now it is American and National. No interleague play this year---IMO the National side was tired of getting their ass kicked and the American side was tired of the bit****....It was Great while it lasted and I personally met a lot of great people from the Nat side. Top 4-teams will go to playoffs. American side added 1-major team (9-total) although the talent didn't warrant it. Total head count down 20-30 kids from last year. (9-major 13-minor 3-machine pitch) just over 300 players not counting JRS. Less than 15 signed up for JRS but we should be able to field 2-teams after high school cuts (down from 4 the last 2 seasons). No SRS. Julien scoreboard goes back up tomorrow. I think thats it--did I miss anything??
Lets Play Ball DC
PS: Not much action on this site anymore although a do get back from time to time to see whats up. Being way out here in Denair it has been very very quit.

Love the honesty - thx... Too bad about inter-league. Those were the best years for me in LL. Too bad adults ruin great things for kids. Is there any good reason NOT to have it??? Didn't think so...

Hey fellas, I thought interleague was a great thing as well. Turlock National has kept the numbers up 9 majors, 8 AAA and 5 AA.
Hopefully the tournament is still on. I haven't heard whether or not it is. Does the American side have a website?
On the National side, the Cards are the team to beat with the Giants, Pirates, Dodgers, and Rockies right on their heels. You won't be able to take a day off because the rest of league can knock you off. We went back to the days rest instead the game in the middle. Remember that Chris (Jens and ZO's 12 year old yr.)

You know the theory - If an infinite number of monkeys were left to bang on an infinite number of typewriters, sooner or later they would accidentally reproduce the complete works of William Shakespeare.
Eventually Crash is going to get one right. Congrats on the great start.

Again, I have to take credit for Booz. It was Trevor's 12 year old season and Crash asked who I would take and I suggested Brandon. Craig can barely pick his nose much less a player.

The National side has two younger teams that will struggle but all others can beat each other any given night. I am sure the American side which is usually very strong would once again win more overall. I know theres some BS to put up with but its fun to see the kids playing with and against their friends from school or their neighborhood.

Looks like Zach started the season like he did his 10 year old season. The kid just loves to go deep eh?
