February is just around the corner. Geez, now that America's SECOND favorite sport is over perhaps things will begin to get more interesting in here.
God, I love baseball almost as much as wings!

I think I know how John Derr must have felt prior to football season.
Jenson is going to miss his sophmore year of baseball. During his baseball final (a scrmmage) on 12/18 he heard a pop while pitching. He suffered an avulsion fracture of his right elbow. We saw Dr. Slovek today and Jens will have surgery in a few weeks.
Apparently, he'll be out 3-6 months.

Chris great choice on the doctor when Dakota broke his knee he did the surgery and worked with him on how to over come some issues with pain. He now has no problems sitting on the dish for 9 innings plus tell Jenson good luck and we are with him

Thanks Randy thats good news. Hopefully things will go as well for Jens as he's a little fearful of not having a good outcome.

Well *hit Chris that makes my stomach turn... I was looking forward to Jens having a great JV year, as you were. Tell him to hang in there, rehab hard and I bet he'll come back hungrier than ever!

Thanks Craig I really appreciate it. He's a hard worker and is handling things well. I, on the other hand, have been a blizzering idiot.

Chris,
Very sorry to hear about this. The first week after finding out was not a good one. Then you start to look at the calendar and begin looking forward to what you can actually do and when you can start. Kids are resilient and can come back faster than expected. Following doctors orders and rehab was the key....I agree with an earlier post that good thing Jensen is only a soph, plenty of time to recover.

Chris...
If you get a chance...call me. Rather than post my cell number on the board (so trevor9 doesn't harass me on my cell repeatedly during the upcoming season...sorry Mike) Crash has my number. Please call me....I have 2 cents to throw in.....and would rather give them over the phone than on the board.

Bummer Chris! So sorry to hear about Jenson. Tell him were thinkin about him. We went thru the same thing with Josh his senior year. He had to have knee surgery but his knee is better than ever now. Good luck with surgery and keep us posted. The Thomas Family
