how high will Bradin Hagens (Pitman HS) and Tom Mendonca (Turlock HS) go?
everyone chime in, its not like there are other things to talk about.
im curious to see where every1 thinks these elite players will go in the draft.......
Hagens has a full ride to Oklahoma State if he declines the draft this year

Mendonca could go anywhere in the first round, probably mid first round.
Hagens- maybe 3rd or 4th round.

i think Tom will be anywhere between supplemental 1st to 3rd rounds, but closer to the supplemental 1st round area...
Braden Hagens in the top 6.........................
Dylan Floro in rounds 7-10
justin jones might go around 15-20 (because of CAL commit)
what i am hearing about this years dradt is that there is no consensus and that many teams draft boards and ranking will be completely different

Unless they get big money I'd hope they'd finish their degrees. I know too many players that intended to go back and finish it after their careers but then bills, marriage and kids change things. Unless they get enough money to change their lives pro baseball can wait until after the diploma is in hand. For most players it's the diploma that will be their meal ticket.

Yeah, then there's Crash who turned his teaching credential into double helpings at Justin's Road House.

No sh!t Crash, once again you state the obvious. Is this why you opted not to play pro ball and went to Stanislaus. Most contracts have an education clause that will cover expenses for the player after their career is over. My advice to all of these kids......SIGN!

for Tommy its his year to sign....his stock is as high as its ever been...........he has leverage over the team that drafts him in that he can return to Fresno if he doesnt like the offer.......next year he would have no leverage....
Hagens, i would say anything over 200K sign and get an education as part of the contract. pitchers arms could go out at any time. and a good signing bonus for a nest egg would be a nice head start to life if baseball doesn't work out

No sh!t . Most contracts have an education clause that will cover expenses for the player after their career is over. But most don't go back and finish and most won't make enough money in pro ball to last the rest of their lives. The education is the means to an end, not pro baseball. True, it's obvious - but a lot of players don't do it and then spend the rest of their lives in menial jobs - wishing they had got the degree. I doubt Bradin or Mendonca will fall into that trap but too many players never graduate and I think that's a shame...

No - You were also correct when you said Chaney sits to pee. I witnessed it the other day at Mistlin.
