I just found out why Crash didn't get a teaching job at Turlock......he does have a multiple subjects credential, but Denair is the only school that recognizes "Arts and Crafts" as a legitimate credential.

i thought Crash has a "Rangers" credential that was accepted in some HS's because of the perceived ability as a possible Army recruiter.........maybe that credential doesnt carry as much weight now with Obama as president

Chaney, Chaney... as usual you don't get your facts right. Good thing you're not a detective. It's a single subject credential and if you ever saw my drawing you'd know damn sure it wasn't in art. But hey, I applaud you for trying. I just hope you're more on target should you ever have to pull out that thing you call a pistol. But based on your rep you'd fire prematurely...

and Mark - let Mike attempt the stand-up and you stick to baseball. We know you're good at that. Mike doesn't know shit from shinola about that topic so we understand his ill attempts to get a laugh. He rode the short buses and got to take the special classes at Turlock so we've humored him for years. He hid that from the agency so now he gets to tote a gun. Good for us b/c it scares the hell out of the bad guys...

Crash, it is just too easy to put you in your place. You did ask for it with the whole Ranger.com days. If I ever feel I can't trade you blow for blow, I will call in the enforcer........Lloyd Christmas. Trust me, you don't want to trade shots with him. I actually show some compassion. BTW- since you corrected me on your credential, what is it........yearbook? I did see a copy of it last year and it looked more like a scrapbook.

I know my place... at a table behind a pitcher and a dozen wings

Alex found a new favorite place today for wings. We put away 36 wings/fries and a large pizza at Juras today. We'd still waiting for our order at Lamp Post and pay twice as much.

Saw Oakdale's Justin Jones (upper 80s - 91) outduel Tokay's Bobby Ramos 3 - 2 today. Jones throws harder, has a great change and curve but both pitchers will be tough on teams this year. Ramos will play at UOP and Jones at Berkley. Oakdale will be hard to handle with Jones and Vander Tuig (93 mph) trading off...

I want to be the kid that busts the pinata open. You guys picking on Crash are gonna scare him off. Remember, he's fragile. Some special people wear helmets to protect the melon.......Crash sticks his up his azz.
Besides that I heard Jones was throwing 90-94 yesterday.

I didn't see any guns out there but maybe he was. I was going on what I was told. Besides, his pitching coach told me his best has been 91 - 92. Didn't look like the 90s yesterday and a lot of kids were putting the ball in play but he's a great pitcher with command of several pitches - that's what makes him better than Raymos. As Mark says radar guns reads overrated - his off-speed stuff is what has the scouts excited. RaYmos had a flat fastball (Justin's runs) and he didn't have command of his off-speed. Coulda been an off day, I dunno. That's probably why he's going to UOP as a position player, not a pitcher. But he's still better than most HS pitchers. He has a sh*tload of talent that's for sure...
And no frets Mikey, I'm not like Greenie. Is he even still alive??? Besides Mike, I gotta stick around. Every comedy team has to have a straight guy and we all know it's not you...

That's all you got? Remember, you are the only male that follows the Marshall Tucker Band all over the place. They must know it's time to hang it up when middle-aged out of shape LL coaches are the only ones offering their services to their roadies to get backstage. A bit personal but I felt I had to go there.
