I have no idea what happened with these two. Change is hard and may these guys were being PITAs and got cut for discipline reasons.

It funny when you read thread about talent and how fast some one throws. The worst tool in baseball is the radar gun , I could care less. My son is a freshman just north of turlock. We have played against most of the turlock talent in travel ball. Olsen is very good but I dont see any of that group jumping to varsity. A few good hitters, good defensive players will develop. As for guy throwing gas- Wheeland is the only one that I have seen hit high 80's low 90. Stop living your little league dreams

LOL BDawg - Are you sure your post was intended for this thread? What exactly are LL dreams? No, ones talking about freshman jumping to Varsity. We were discussing kids being pulled up to JV. You seem to have a bit of a chip on your shoulder..."The worst tool in baseball is the radar gun." Really? LOL

As for guy throwing gas- Wheeland is the only one that I have seen hit high 80's low 90. Stop living your little league dreams can you name 5 guys in the immediate area that throw that hard? ill give you Wheeland, Jones, VanderTuig, Floro, and Sisco.................... are there many more? My son is a freshman just north of turlock. We have played against most of the turlock talent in travel ball. Olsen is very good but I dont see any of that group jumping to varsity. A few good hitters, good defensive players will develop. As for guy throwing gas- Wheeland is the only one that I have seen hit high 80's low 90. Stop living your little league dreams you are right i don't see any from the group going up (Varsity) either, also what most of the posters here were saying is that those kids were being moved up to JV..............i assume if Kramer was in the right grade and not a year younger than most sophmores he would have an outside shot at Varsity..............we must remember it is almost impossible to make Varsity at a D-1 school.........maybe a little easier at a school like Central Catholic, Hilmar, Delhi, or some other D5 school....... and if you read my posts you will come to find that you are repeating what i have stated here several times, who has velocity and who doesn't.........i stated on more than a couple occasions that Vince is the only guy in Turlock in the mid to high 80's range and has touched 90 a couple times for my friends over at CenCal............ It funny when you read thread about talent and how fast some one throws. The worst tool in baseball is the radar gun i will have to disagree......ask any1 that matters if a power arm is an overrated tool?

he is the best SS at THS, and with Derek Woods a Varsity starter as a sophmore, All-CCC 2nd team last year, my projected #2 pitcher before being cut, being cut they might need Kramer to do some pitching also?

No chip chris, I made a mistake a jump to Jv well maybe. My point about the radar gun is that it give people a false sense of a good pitcher. Kids see the gun and try to throw hard. Vourmand throws hard had more control at 12 than now but he is 8th grader I think. I have no chip, my sons team has beaten all of the turlock team in his age group for a few years .

Welcome to the forum BDawg...Its good to have some fresh blood here. I checked out your inmotionpixs.com site and it looks like you guys do decent work. Glad to have you here. BTW - Your son's team is who? Rockers? Club All Star? You name them we've been beat by them. We have fun and choose to play with "local" kids...so to each his own. If you choose to play for an academy and that fills what ever need you have; I guess thats a good thing. I'm always more impressed with teams like the Dawgs who do more with less talent then any club around. As for Voumard, he's still a hell of a young pitcher and not the guy you want to face in the championship game. He has his best days ahead him.
