TNLL has a full slate of games scheduled. Not real popular with many of the folks. Glad we play on Friday but the Giants kids are troopers they'd have been here. Anyone torked over it? I mean besides the ususal group of whiners.

Someone oughta sell slices of homebaked apple pie Saturday at their snack bar... Or Latif's would be a great second choice.

Indeed, Memorial Day wasn't created for baseball but it's sure feels like it should have been. It's easy to forget our brothers, sisters, sons, daughters and friends in harm's way. God's speed as we enjoy the great life they create for us at home.

Sceduling games on Memorial Day weekend is nothing new.....I think more people are upset about games being played when family and or friends have graduation in June. I however am not one of them.

What else would you rather be doing on Memorial Day besides baseball is there really anything else? The BYB's will be in Huntington Beach this weekend 118 teams in all the age brackets 15 teams in the 10u brackets. Craig by the way Brett had a hell of a game with the bat against the Yankees the other night a couple of lasers up the middle off one of the best in the league he was impressive. Good luck to everyone that is playing this weekend bust out the BBQ Grill hamburgers, hotdogs, and I hear Craig makes a delicious apple pie and if you guys get the Chevrolet extra bonus along with a little Bob Segar and The Marshall Tucker Band sounds almost like heaven.

Ouch! I'll kick your a** later Chris.
Thanks for the kind words Tony.
Good point about our soldiers Chris. Would be fitting for the players to stand on the foul lines and observe a moment of silence...

Let me guess Chris you are more of the Bee Gees type. As far as the comment about our soldiers Craig that is only right that the kids understand if it was not for those loved ones over there fighting for us we the American people may not be able to enjoy America's Greatest pastime the wonderful game of BASEBALL. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and everybody comes out a winner this weekend but that can't happen somebody has to loose but we will give'm hell trying. By the way Chris did you not say something the other night to Matt,Ricky and myself about your Village People album collection.
