So who are the lads that will be wearing these uniforms, I agree the black and orange looks good only if you can get them to slide.

Ok my final comment on the team name and uniforms. First of all I think it is BS that we sit around going over and over about team name and uniforms. I told Mike I would support him 100% on what he decided as far as both. I can not believe we sit around and come up with gay comments about a 12 year old team name and uniforms does that not say what is on people's mind when all they do is come up with something like this. Why is it so hard to stick with the decision Mike has made? I have always been told the player makes the uniform and not the uniform makes the player. It is really getting annoying everytime you come to the forum and look for something positive out of what Mike is trying to do all you see is complaining about name and uniforms. I think it is time to focus on something different as such as, what can I do to help make this happen since there are kids on the team from all 4 Turlock leagues and looking for a couple more. It is nice to finally see the Turlock Baseball community coming together. We are going to have inter league this year and we are trying to build 3 travel teams from just Turlock kids from all leagues. This is counting Chris,Matt, and Rodney's 13u team and also the 14u Rangers. I feel like we all should pull together and do what we can to make these 3 teams be as successful as they can be instead of b**ching and complaing about names and color of uniforms. Just my opinion, Mike you have my support no matter what the so called expert has to say. LMAO.

We're just having fun... and if anyone deserves to be dumped on it's Mike. He knows how to dish it out and take it as well. If we didn't Hottie and complain on this forum it'd be mighy frickin' boring.

I would have to say that since the Mike and Craig show and their band of characters started, the entertainment values has increased greatly. I would recommend it to anyone. You should go on the road.

Don't suggest a road-trip for Crash, he already has a full schedule. Between the Rangers and the Hooter's World Tour he doesn't have time for anything else. As far as Craig's input into the new team, I have two piles.......one for the things we'll consider and the second is the pile that we will flush. The bowl has overflowed quite a bit lately. The thing about Craig is that he is somewhat of a control freak, that being said his heart is in the right place.(his head is somewhere else) The name of the team should be symbolic of the local area and the player's and their families should be proud to represent Turlock. We will not come up with some hokie analogy as to how we came up with the name and colors ala Crash.......Why Rangers? Our goal's are not to shed a tear or win Pulitzer with a long winded mission statement. The goal is to take these kids to the next level and show people what kind of talent Turlock has to offer. We can develope, win and have fun doing it. We are so far ahead of where most teams are at this point and I can thank the parents, LL coaches and other travel ball coaches who have helped develope the kids we already have. You see Crash, I am a bigger man for acknowledging that it takes more than just ME to be successful.LOL BTW...I will include you when giving credit for what you have given to LL and travel ball. How's that for being nice? I know with the kids we have and with the cooperation of parents such as yourself we will be successful.

Uh, Wait. Let me remove the knife from my back and stop the bleeding... OK, that was (kind of a) nice a nice compliment. You on the meds again? Or did you just stop by Juras for lunch again? For the record, I'm not a control freak (that title goes to my wife, try as she might)... I'm just outspoken. It gets me in a lot of trouble (at least with those whose ideas are inferior to my own - and that's just about... No, it is - everybody)... If Mikey wants to stick with the Aggies well let the Little Princess. GD, we might as well call 'em the Georgia Peaches! Renegades just has a more masculine ring to, which I kind of like. BUT if I have to be forced to get in touch with my feminine side I guess I'll go with the crowd, don a visor, wear gussetttes and dye my tips. Oh FI, I will not you pansies. Get with the program. This is a BOYS travel team. And just one more thing coach Tony... We will NOT under any circumstances have our team sing cheers in the freakin' dugout (or anywhere else!). Good Lord, Brett about died laughing in Chino Hills when the BYB started singing! He, for the record, did not succumb to peer pressure and join in! Are ya with me on THAT one Mike?

Karioke Krash, I can see it now. I would prefer to beat a team not annoy one. Little Princess? c'mon you can swing a little harder than that. BTW- your off-season workout regimine, maybe you can actually do it rather than e-mail it to the kids. My advice to you when it comes to coaching: take two weeks off and then......quit. There's the knife skipper.LOL

OOOOOOOOOOffffffaaaaaaa - W/E - I couldn't give a crap about any of this stuff except that I can't believe any male team would ever be allowed to do any of that girls softball crap. If that happens its pathetic & the coaches should be run off the field and banned from this board!

What's wrong with Georgia? Ty Cobb was "sired" there as well. It beats the hell out of Texas.
All kidding aside, the new team will not participate in an American Idol audition or any chanting that could lead to them getting earholed. We need to teach the kids the game and also the consequences of their actions in the game. Crash is big on prepping them for H.S., well that is part of it. If Craig has any doubt that I'm not old school, just ask any Oriole parent. Our dugout started to do the stupidist chant of all (Rally...H.I.T.) and before they could finish it I was in their face telling them to go home and get the pom poms. Don't lose any sleep over this issue Craig, I will stop it before it starts. I have a feeling our kids will be well behaved and focused on the task at hand unlike some other teams that are playing on the swingsets five minutes before a game and drinking Starbucks in the dugout.
On to the team dress code.LOL We will let the kids decide how long the pants should be, they may even choose the unhimmed pants. The belts will match the socks (even though we may not see the socks). I know Crash you are probably puking right about now but it gets better. I will say NO to flatbills and white cleats, I think you had a kid do both at one time this year......I know it wasn't your fault, he did play for the Red Sox. I also will have to say no to the two-tone helmets. I'm with Crash on one thing, the kids get to play and the adults foot the bill, we should have a say in how they look......except Craig, he's proven that he's no better than a twelve year old when it comes to what looks good. Now that all the little things have been addressed we can now focus on playing the game. So when the Rangers are taking a knee and listening to Crash ramble on about his glory days as a slowpitcher, we will be working hard and developing the next generation of studs. Greenie might even change his tune about Pitman after a year with us.LOL
