Rangers took third. Went 1 - 1 Sat, losing by one in bottom of the 7th to the Nationals 5 - 4. In the first round of play-offs we beat Silcon Valley Yankees 6 - 1, then lost to the San Leandro Outlaws in the semi-finals... again in the bottom of the 7th, this time 4 - 3. Pitching was great... Hitting wasn't as good as usual. Oh, well - next weekend we have Redding! Hopefully we'll get back on track with the sticks.

Yankee coach complimented the pitcher who pitched against them and side he pitched a great game. WHo was it? If you get that guy to say anything positive, you have done well.
That was a big win for the Rangers, Great job!!
Ernie, how did the Stars do?

We beat Norcal Rebels 6-1 and beat Danville Dukes 13-2 and lost to Lamorinda Generals 3-2 on Saturday. We went into Sunday's game as the number one seed and got our butt's handed to us by the EJ Sports Titans 10 - 0 . We couldn't have beat anyone yesterday. We would still love to have Adrian.

I've got to believe it was Kevin's best performance ever. Struck out 10, hard to do against a travel team of that caliber. I had to laugh at the guy in the stands with the radar gun. After the second inning he told me I was stupid (well, not in those words - but that's what me meant for not calling all fastballs b/c his gun showed Kevin at 75 mph. I had to tell him that my catcher (Ryan) called the game, not me. He said. "Well then you're catcher's not calling a very smart game. He should be throwing all fastballs." He wasn't around at the end, but I wanted to ask him how smart he thought it was when all was said at done. lol Derr pitched great too against the Outlaws. Both young gentleman have evolved from throwers to pitchers. Very cool to see.
