Little league went to 220' for the World Series. National is installing a net in from left to left center to keep the house from being punded this year. Probably a good idea since we had over 60 Taters this past season many of which banged off that house LOL.

Thats right, I heard something about 60 taters. Only about 30 of those would have been out at Julien. Talk about inflating a bunch of daddy's egoes. Interleague might not be such a good idea, the american side won't want to go home (Julien) after its over.LOL

I guess we'll see during interleague. Over the past several years I do believe NAT/NS have been lop-sided winners of City Championships. in 2000 National South Gomes Took it all in 2001 we lost to American NorCal Oil in 2002 we 2 hit American East Volk Giants to win City in 2003 National Dodgers no hit American Dodgers. past that i dont remember much as i wasnt there in 2004 Chris team won it all 05 and 06 i dont know

Both fields are about the same Mikey. Soderquist is a bit bigger in areas and Julien in areas. We measured last year.

I thought Julien was measured smaller everywhere but one little area. It sure shut the American side up for awhile I'm sure the boys are going to love the fans out in the outfield too. it's not everyday you get to warm up with the homeless folks laying next to you

The only place Soderquist is bigger is right down the left & right field lines. Soderquist field is fairly rounded while Julien is a straighter angle to left center and center, making it consideably bigger in the power alleys and CF. You also have a wind that blows from RF to LF which carries balls out. Our winds blows directly in and holds many balls up... OK, run with that last statement Mikey!

Hey Web Master... How about listing the City Champs on the website. There's also a web page somewhere that lists the District champs so you could put the years we (as in Turlock) won up too.

Ha! How long ago was it I asked you to put up a 12U link? Still waiting. Craig knows the truth about the distances because he, Matt and I were all there. When hit with the truth, he his fall back position is aerodynamics. LOL Craig come on bro! Do you really want me to list Minor City Champs? I know that will make you and Tony happy but then we Mikey will be wanting his Fall Ball Championship posted.

I stand by the facts. And the bottom line is it's harder to hit one out at Julien. Interleague will prove that this year... Nope, never said I wanted the minor league champs listed... just had to give a little shout out to AE Hell, Mikey doesn't need it posted, he's his own best PR guy! Any guy that brags about taking ED meds must have his phD in PR!

That wind really blows hard, I'm sure it helped at least 3 homers last year. It was the MIB and their $1000 worth of bats that started the wave of HR's. It was either keep up with the Essary's or get run over. Next thing you see was everyone had their own Banana. The worst thing that ever happened to little league baseball was allowing that bat in.

No, the worst thing was not picking up Lil Greenie in the draft
