Wanted to let everyone know that this year's Baseball Player's Association (BPA) Western World Series will be held right here in Turlock at Pedretti Fields on July 22-25. Teams from Washington, Nevada, and Southern California are expected for sure, with the possibility of teams from elsewere coming too. The age divisions are 9u-14u. It should be a great event and am proud that it will happen right here in Turlock. Hope to get some area teams participating! More information at www.eteamz.com/ceresraptorsThanks, L Boullion

Keith, You are right on. If we can harness a good crop of kids for this tournament from both leagues. Can you imagine the line up? Biggest challenge would be placement of positions. I know of a few Angels, Yanks and Braves that would combine well with the National. A true Turlock All Star Studded Cast!! Wow El Rocko

Keith.. I don't think Chris would want a BANANA hater on his team .... Not only that, Once Brennan tries one in practice thats it. Dad has to work a couple of overtime shifts to get him one.. Why stop here. Lets get our friends who play on that small field across town and make it true ALL TURLOCK TEAM!!!! or teams

No, actually you do need to qualify by placing 1st-4th in a BPA event or by attending 3 or more tournaments without finishing 1st-4th or by receiving a limited number of at-large bids. 9u and 14u teams automatically qualify due to less tournaments around for them.
If your still involved in all-stars and can't qualify in time ( The last qualifier is July 15-16 weekend) then talk to me and we'll see if we can get an at-large bid. If the out of state teams don't take too many first, they will be offered to the area teams.

I hope we won't have the opportunity b/c we're still in AS but if not at least there's baseball to play. A win-win either way! It's pretty awesome to have great torneys in your own back yard. Thx Lance!
