Good Lord I'm tired. That was some of the worst defense and best offense I have ever seen. Zowie and that Denny is one tough lil booger.

WOW!!!!! Now that was some serious scoring tonight. Congrats to the Yankees on outlasting the Angels in a battle. Congrats to the Angels as well on a hard fought battle. All players need to hold their heads high as nobody gave up in that one....was not alot of defense but it was exciting to watch. See you Yankees on Tuesday. Iggy seems to like the "banana" very much. Rolen was solid at the plate once again. Good job Nick Anyone know what time the game is going to start at on Tuesday?? Mr. V any ideas?? Looking forward to watching another battle of two champions.
yes Chris I sure am glad Denny is okay as that ball was smoked right at him. Great stop I might add. Hate to see either club lose that battle.

WOW WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! What a game!!! your right it wasn't the prettiest game, but it sure was exciting. Hats off to the Angels. Yes Denny is one tough kid, that ball was hit hard and he still made the play, way to go kid. I know Three Coaches that are exhausted from worry, excitement, and finally a victory. If I must say it Thanks for the BANANA. See ya'll on Tuesday.

After the DODGER MARATHON, I could not imagine another SLUG FEST. With Cody and Nick as starters I could see tonights game as a LOW SCORING GAME, Denny took a SHOT , and came right back w/ the toss to first....for an out !!! WOW I talked to him after the game, seemed to be all right. That was a WEB GEM !!!! Yes...ROLEN was seeing the ball , last 2-3 games, Hope BYRD has lost his scouting notes....Not sure what time first pitch is scheduled for on TUESDAY....But the YANKS will be there. :)BANANA BAT and all !!! Thanks to the ANGLES for a BATTLE , class Ball Club !!!

Your telling me, I'm not sure who was more nervous him or I. He knodded his head saying he was going to do it. It took a great play from the first basegirl (alex's) but it worked. He had tears in his eyes when he walked off the field, man what a finish.

Those tears had to be a huge release. Can't imagine a more stressful situation for a young man. Those are the moments that truly build character. Not something any of us who were watching will soon forget. I'm so proud of both clubs as both refused to die.

Chris,
You are so right about the sleeping part !!! I am so proud of both TEAMS for the battle or should I say WAR. The YANKS gave it all they had, GREAT to see ALEX make the last out, she is a trooper.
Nicks RBI double in the 6th was the best Fathers Day present I could ever ask for----even better off the bat of his good friend - Jens

I have some of the best equipment made today for scouting teams. I have sent all the video over to the lab to be broken down bit by bit. I even picked up some signs from last nights battle royal. I noticed both teams used the same sign for the intentional walk. Great game guys and I expect a another one come Tuesday. Happy Fathers day to all....off to work I must go
