Just had a thought (my first in a while I gotta admit...). If we interleague we should change the names of some of the teams. Kinda dumb to have Yankees vs Yankees.

Yes, but that might confuse our side. Think of the cost, considering they want to re-use the uniforms from last year to save money.

Gotcha no Yankettes. Perhaps since Coop is gone we can stick it to the new guy in AE. I call for the vote.

After the Yankees choked the way they did this year with that payroll of theirs I think the Yankee team name needs to be put on the shelf for awhile. Rodney you can come up with something better than the Yankees I think I would go with the Bulldogs as in Fresno St. before the Yankees but it does not matter I guess neither one of them can win the big one. My Bulldog gear is getting farther and farther back in the closet.

Names may not be a possible change at this point. However, we should seriously look at uniform formats to distinquish teams with the same name playing each other. Just a Thought. Perhaps AM and AE can go with the classic pin strip look?

Great idea Rocko..The only problem I see with that is KEITH being pissed he can't wear the PINK stripes.

I kinda like the idea of changing the names. I also think it would be dumb for two teams with the same name to play each other even with different uniforms. Why don't we give the teams in the national side names from the national league and give the teams from the american side names from the american league. That way we wont have any duplicate names. By the ways is interleague really going to happen?

I hope it'll happen Ken. It seems to have support. Randy will get it done I wouldn't want to be the team that has to change. It might be and then I'd have to redo all the pages I created on the web-site

The idea of changing the names to match the league you play in is great. On our side we would only have to change 1 team (Athletics) and after going 0-21, I think they would love a change.

Perhaps AM and AE can go with the classic pin strip look? how about National/National South ONLY use MLB teams from the National League and American American East teams only use MLB teams from the American League. oops. already mentioned
