On a more serious note.......
It has been a REAL PRIVILEGE to be able to watch these young men ( and women ) develop their skills on the field. To have a finish set up like we have could only be a HOLLYWOOD SCRIPT.
The V's have met some great people at the YARD this year, it's been great for NICK as I watch him mature and CHEER on his many friends.
IHO we have a real special LL group that I hope we can continue to get to know better and better as the years go by. A real CLASS GROUP !!! One day we will setting in the stands at HS watching these kids play the game they Love.
I wish ALL the TEAMS and PLAYERS Good Luck in the finish....and a good SUMMER.

On the MASS SCHEDULE.....I called the PADRE and let him know that we just found a whole bunch of donation envelopes. He's going to stop by the dugout and pick them up. Might get him to say a few words for the YANKS.

Mr. V good evening. You know I wish you and Rolen only the best of luck. I cannot think of a better way to spend a Saturday. Greenie all so true. I look forward to next year very much to see all the boys a year older with a better understanding of the game on a whole. Whether the A's get a win tomorrow or not my hat goes off to that team for never giving up. They have always came out and played hard. Look out in years to come as they are a young team with some good youngsters. Good job coaches for all the clubs for the time you have ALL put in. Congrats to the parents for letting the coaches do their job. It is sad to see it all come to a close. I'll be right back as I am getting a tear in my eye .......okay that's better. I gotta go. It is all more then I can handle.

Chris, I wouldn't get to happy about brothers rights on the Hanhams the younger brother didn't have the coaching Mike had in AA. Poor Chris had some big tall guy who probably never played ball.

Time nears for final games, and a few are already in the thick of them. Just wanted to express my gratitude to a great group of coach, player and parents. Thanks for making 2006 interesting, welcoming and exciting. More discussions will continue over the next several weeks. But, as I get ready to head out to the games. Good luck to all players and coaches. El Rocko

Congrats to everybody this year. I haven't this much fun for a long time. All of the boys played their hearts out. The National Side is going to be scary next year. It definitely going to be at least a three team race. The A's are going to be stronger, those kids have a lot of heart. There will be no easy games next year. Go Giants.

I have to agree.....it should be another fun filled year of family and friends enjoying the sport we all love. Congrats to all the coach's and player's for making the season what it was. Also hats off to all the ump's who donated their time to do the job they did so well. Look forward to seeing you all once again. Well almost all

Just gotta say it sounds like the National side has far better people involved and a positive attitude about things with great friendships and sportsmenship then the American side.
I read all your posts and it sounds like you had a great year. I am sorry to say that Little League was a disaster for my son this year. We were on a team with great parents and great kids and coaches.....just the league as a whole, the umpiring and the attitude was not good.
Congratulations National side!!

Alrighty! congratulations to the Cardinal Organization. They had a great year and did everything to get the job done. Byrd, It was great watching the little Byrd, he really improved this year and will be a force next year. Rocko, the Blue had an outstanding season, played great ball right up to the end. Watching little rocko and the rest of the Blue was great. Alot of good player that hit the crap out of the ball. Mr. V., the Yankees are hitting their stride and your son Little V is great. My son still sees that fastball in his sleep. nasty. Greenie, I'm still pissed they that took the homerun away from little greenie. But for a 10 yr old, he had a great year and will have more to come. Chris, I can't tell you how much I had watching the G-men. The little scrapper had a lot of fun and improve a great deal. Statisically 6th on a team that is loaded. I taught him well. (ha ha) (p.s we will work on the fielding), I'm still trying to pull his head out.
Anyway it has been a lot of fun and I can't wait until next year. Then, there is Bubba. I have to give you some credit. Look forward to playing with the little Bubba, Sources tell me though, he need to work on his tether ball.
