What a great season for Turlock Little League Baseball. New ideas, new opportunities and new people with some great issues to make Turlock Baseball one of the best places in the valley to play baseball. Yes, there are ups and downs with some issues but that is called growth and a learning experience. It is not a perfect program but it does keep our young people off the streets. We all learn every year from each other and from our young players. Good luck to all the teams and their coaching staffs for the tournament. I will miss the game tonight because of graduation parties from former players and friends. I have to hit 6 parties in 2 days. I will be calling now and then to get a score.
I am sorry Crash but GOOOOOO YANKEEEES,
Coop

Are we still playing baseball? The schedule maker should be taken out back of the woodshed for this joke of a schedule.

Randy,
the Inter-league schedule was great ;D The last couple of weeks of the National side have sucked. We are going 13 days between games at the end of the season. That is not right. I will do it next year if this is the best we can get.

Greenie: I thought you saw the schedule before the season! Randy said he did that so the national side would be a little rusty come time for the tournament. The Cubs had a 13 day layoff as well.

It just would have pained us to see you lose two games in one day.

Randy, Great job with the schedule for the year considering all the ups and downs working out the details. Correct me if I am wrong (I would be the first to admit it), but wasn't Greenie at the meetings or on the committee for the scheduling? As Trevor stated wasn't he given a schedule at the beginning of the season. If so, then why wait till now to be concerned. What happened to reading through the schedule for the whole year and if there was a question, then bring it up at that time instead the last second. Now if fields were not available or graduations had a part in it, there is not much control of that. Looks like you have someone who wants to take over next year.
Great job Randy, RFPNY

ps Chris, is the meeting with coaches still on for Monday at Valley Oak at 7pm even though the AE-Yankees and AE-Angels are playing?

Yes I was at the meeting but the National/ N.S. Schedule has been changed a couple of times due to errors in it.

Jim... my solution to a 13 day break; vacation to Oregon! There's always a silver lining! lol

Coop -
I'd say the meeting should be postponed to assure all the managers are there. I'd sure hate to miss the Angels v Yanks game.
