Here are my picks... National 1. Dodgers, Deep pitching goes a long ways with the pitch count limits. 2. D-Backs, Will surprise a lot of people this year. 3. Giants, Best player in league can only take you so far. Very good 1-2 punch, but the mighty midgets will have to step it up. 4. Athletics, Good young team. Playing for experience this year. 5. Cardinals, A rebuilding year after taking it last year.
National South 1. Yankees, Pitching, Pitching and Pitching. Defending Champs are loaded again. 2. Angels, Will battle for 2nd. 3. Braves, A very young team in rebuilding mode.
Good luck to all. This should be a great year!!

I'm thinking this way and I got to agree with Keith.
Yanks, Angels, Braves in that order.
Dodgers & Giants are a toss up followed by the D'Backs, Cards and Nationals.
I'm guessing the Cubs & Padres are a toss up followed by the Yanks then Angels.
A's, Orioles, Sox & Dodgers placing 5th out of 4 teams ;D

Everyone's predictions are no brainers, except Chris having the A's ahead of the Orioles. Maybe you know something we don't since they have failed to show up for their practice games with everyone but the Red Sox. BTW- that game looked like a toss up. The O's on the other hand battled the Padres to a 3-3 tie. I know Gomes only threw each kid for one inning but so did Dykzuel, the Padres do have a little stronger line up but when they play for keeps it should be a good game. Crash: The Cubs had better win it all with all that talent. I want to see wins not hear about destinations and journey's. Turlock Cubs.com needs a new mission statement........and the red belts still suck.LOL

LOL - I don't know anything about the As. I thought I'd tweak you a bit and I know the Dodgers are going to have a rough year.

Turlock Cubs.com needs a new mission statement........and the red belts still suck.LOL I kept 'em just for you. I think our chances of winning are shot. I was counting on you to be the man this year since my past attempts have fizzled like a wet sky rocket on the fourth of July. You promised you'd be there to "help" coach which I think was your polite way of saying "bail me out" because you know I lack the skill to teach a turnip how to fall of the truck... But you went and got a job (surprising us all) and have had no time to devote to the tutelage of the Cubbies. I'm sure it's our loss. And all that poetic mumbo-jumbo is just a cover. You know I'm a win at all costs kind of guy. Haven't you noticed Ryan's guns? He's on the Barry Bonds "supplement" regimen. And Brett will be swinging the new Sammy Sosa "El Corque" - each bat is hand made in Cuba by their communist regime. I even tried to minipulate the draft but that damn Gomes beat me to it!

They sure did...He did a good morning, good afternoon and a good night to Lil G. It was awesome. The BIB do have some work to do. But we told the boys to take it easy on the undermanned MIB. It's gotta be tough to practice when you have players at wrestling tourneys Plus it was a low blow to have one of your parents bring Lil G's love of his life to the game to distract him

LMAO. We had the same problem last year with our own players. We will make sure she's at every game. She can sit up in the booth keeping score and announce his name when he comes to bat. ;D Final Predictions National. Giants Dodgers Diamondbacks Nationals Cardinals National South, Yankees Angels Braves, Good Luck to all of the teams. This is going to be a great year and I wish all of the kids have a great season. This should be a very competitive year with the potential of a lot teams in the mix. It doesn't get any better than this. OPENING DAY TOMORROW. IT GAME TIME. Where wins talks and bullshit walks.
