The Nationals came so close tonight to their first win of the season! The boys played great against the Yankee powerhouse, losing only 7-6. I just want to give a great big shout out to the boys in red! We're getting there! Also, thanks to the Yankee coaching staff. You are a class act Mr. Voumard.

It's a real thrill to watch these young ball players ( from all the teams ) get better and better..The Nationals are a very talanted ball team and they sure gave us ( the Yanks ) a scare...Thanks to all the fans who supported both teams on a cold and rainy night...not the best Baseball weather.
and
Thanks for your kind words !! as the saying goes "FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME "

My son was so stoked after the game. Even though it was a no-win on the books, it was a win for the boys' egos! My son had nothing but great things to say about the coaches. He must have said a dozen times, " That coach kept telling me I was a great catcher!" Thank you for making him feel like a winner. ;D

Greenie- not even you can bring me down! Why do you have to be such an arsehole? Can't you be supportive of your son's football teammate for once and quit talking **it?! I forgot how to do the smiley faces. I want the one with the tongue sticking out!

We ( Yankees Staff ) try to instill in our players.....to PLAY HARD, BUT HONOR THE GAME. Personally I enjoy watching these young ballplayers as they mature...after all one day we will be in the stands watching ..THS/PITMAN and recalling when these kids played at Soderquist..
Hats off to the NATIONALS.....class ball club !!

Damn... Is that all it takes to get some more people on here? It sounds like the A's are coming around. Why would I want to bring you down MOM? As for being supportive. I'll let you be the ATHLETIC SUPPORTER. I was just having a little fun with you. As for the Yankee's coaching staff, 2 out of 3 have some class. That Hauser sure doesn't.

Don't get too high and mighty Greenie about your coaching. Aren't you in charge of taking in batting gloves and helmets to the dugout? I'm sure Hauser does more than that!
