Greenie is pretty good with the fields. He tore everything up and then made the right calls to those who had to fix it. His sales pitch was classic, "Some jackass screwed this up.....now you don't mind donating your time and money to fix it do you?". Only Greenie can pull that off and still manage to coach first base in flip-flops.
BTW- Julien's infield is still grass, that little patch of dirt shouldn't bother the national side that much.

Word has it that the National grounds crew can work miracles... My staff is second to none. They are ready to roll tomorrow to get the field ready for the big game. The only major games to get rained out this year were to the coach that always showed up when the work was done . Coincidence? I think not. This game has deeper ramifications then Little League. Bragging rights for Mr. Labrum's 6th grade class at Brown School are on the line. It's Kody's Padres against Lil. G's Dodgers. The flip-flops are part of the mental game of baseball. If the kids looks down and See's a kool, mellow, laid back guy coaching first they stay relaxed up at the plate no matter what the situation is. Then we send our runner to second at just the right time and POW the game is over!! Prediction. There isn't going to be 7 free passes to first base.

Ha - Well you don't lose much now let see you give the Pads a loss. So will it be 2-0 Dodgers or 10-0 Padres?

How about 1-0 Dodgers. Those American teams seem to be scared of us and don't bring enough players.
