I could have answered back at any hour last night, since sleep seemed to be optional.... I have been applying the following logic to our season "Baseball is like church. Many attend, few understand." - Leo Durocher, I keep telling myself that the NS YANKS resemble. General Washingston's Colonial Army going up against King George and the British..... we all know the results of that one !! Seriously-- What a thrill for the PLAYERS / COACHES and PARENTS of both Clubs. Both teams are well coached, well practiced and battle tested...anything could happen. I wish both teams the BEST OF LUCK and THANKS in advance to all supporting the NS-YANKS

it might take a couple of innings to get over the excitement and settle down. emotions will be running high early. yu guys as coaches need to do your best at making the kids feel like its just another game because, believe me, they will feed on the coaches vibes.
good luck to both teams, but honstly being a former National South guy, lets hope National South takes it.
see you guys out at the ballpark tonight

Congrats to the American Yankees on claiming the title. Also congrats to the National South Yankees for a great year. Pitch count looked to be the factor in this one. Both starters shut the other team down but walks will kill you in the pitch count era.

Mr. V congrats on a great season. It looked like you guys ran into a buzz saw with American East Yankees Teams. Congrats to them as well. Nick pitched a great game. The Lady jumping on the fence was interesting. Never seen that before. But anyway, great season National South Yankees. You did the National side proud!

This is Coach Coop from the American East Yankees. I would like to take the time to thank all those who had the kind words about the game and our team. It is to bad that there has to be a loser. In reality with a game like this there is no loser we are winners. I would like to complement Coach E and his team in their sportsmanship in the game, they were well coach. On behalf of the American-American East, I want to thank the whole program for the National-National South for having the City Championship game. Everyone from both sides of town are always lookinig forward to this special game. Thank you for all those who put in countless hours to make this workable. I am puzzled though. In the past years there used to be a pretty good size trophy that would go to the winner that would be exchanged from year to year. The sponsor's would take the trophy and display in their business office. They deserve that, after all if it were not for them we would not have the program that we have today. If anyone has any information what happen to it please let me know. If it has been misplaced, for the respect of our sponsors today and the future, it is my thoughts we should replace it then. Once again thank all of those of you from both sides of town who have made this year 2006 a productive year for our young people to play the game they love. Good luck to all of our All Stars on both sides of town. We Little Caesars Pizza - Yankees from the American East thank all of you.

I think you you should talk to Mr. Essary about that trophy. . Correct me if I am wrong (I know you will ;D) When the National Side won in 2005, there was no trophy.
