Some great games last night but the highlight has to be the American- American East Brass who shut the lights off as we were talking to our players after the game. A real CLASS act. Does the American side really want to be involved in this? Both teams for the early game yesterday had to climb the fence to get on to the field. We finally got the bases at 5:20 and we had to put them in.

You haven't seen Joe Sniezek climb a fence. Not a pretty sight You can tell that he was a silver spoon kid and was never chased by the cops as a kid.

All seriousness aside. Its pretty cool to see your league president out prepping the field prior to a game and picking up garbage following the game. We got lucky this year. Perhaps we'll get even more folks to jump in next year. Thanks Ralph!

Here is where Greenie posts a bunch of smiley faces blowing kisses. Nope, I couldn't agree with you more. We also need to give some props to Jimmy s. He has helped me out all year getting the field ready and stepped in to umpire games when we had no one else. It was a learning experience for him (and all of us ) I hope he goes to the clinics this summer and comes back ready to go next year.

Yeah, Jimmy really has stepped up. He'll never read this but he definately deserves props for his help. Jim, the field has looked great all year. Hats off to you especially. We'll have some holes to fill prior to AS. Maybe if we throw seed down now well get a little growth by AS time.
