Folks both leagues are searching for a hay trailer for the Turlock Parade. We are planning visibility by sponsoring a float with players to throw candy I would imagine and hand flyers. Does anyone know of anyone who has a hay trailer for this use? Also, I would imagine that interested parents looking to have their child participate in the parade can contact Mel. Need the help on this one? Here is the test of the true value of this forum. Waiting Waiting Waiting for the Response

Pedro Do you know who's trailers were used for the Bud Bowl? Those would work nice. I'll ask around at practice and see what I can find out.

I was under the impression from our last meeting Mr Serpa was loaning us the trailer and we needed a tractor to pull it ? And if this is true we had a tractor that was going to be donated for the drive by one of the board members. Please let me know ASAP. We also ordered some foam baseballs with the new web sight on to toss out to the crowd should be a great night

What a great idea Randy - Thats very cool! BTW - we have the capacity to call all the players from last year with a recorded message to announce the registration dates.
We then receive a real time report of who actually received the call and we can poll them to see if they will be returning by pressing "1" or '2" on their key pad.
The National side has used this method the past two years. The American side may want to use it as well. It'll cost about $25 to use the system but it seems to work well.

Christmas parade.... Hmm, perfect time for Chris and Mike to come out and do their thong dance in public! They'd fit right in with St Nick and his little elves!

Zimmer Zimmer Zimmer, your obsession with seeing us in thongs is really starting to scare me. I guess once you have played for Pat Davis you can never go back (staight)

The trailer is taken care of. Mike Egleston from National is getting us a trailer from Bonander is st. We have a tractor or pick up to pull it, but what is needed now is some bodies to help Robin Jurvich from Am/AE leagues. She is doing a great job, she has great ideas, and needs help to bring them to life.
Check out the other thread on this.

Hey parents as you know we have a float in the X-mas parade, we are going to hand out plastic baseballs with our web address on it. PLEASE bring the kids out- in or out of uniform to walk with the float and hand out the baseballs. It is this Friday at 6:30 and I believe the parade starts down off of Canal.

I'm sure there'll be plenty of Turlock and Pitman football fans on hand since they now have idle time!
