He went ballistic when Alex got tossed. Ran to Gary's table and had his finger in Garys chest say it was a bullshit call.

Sounds like I missed all the fun being in Turlock instead of Ceres. We didnt have too much excitement in Turlock. Chaney didnt even Hottie about the umpires, not even once, and he could have this tournaemnt on the 11u field.
If any team wants to Ceres Youth Baseball has an "Open tournament that starts June 30 at Costa. Last year they had 12 teams for the 12u division. Only All Star teams too. It is a good tournament and lasts from Sat. to the 4th. It is only like $275.
Its not my tournament but they run a good one. Let me know if the All Star teams are eligible to play. Really you would play teams like Ceres All Stars, Bel Pasi All Stars, West Port, REd Shield, Modesto Christian, Modesto Cal Ripkin, and others..... even a 10u bracket too.

We have our opening AS game at Julien on the 30th vs Madera. The tournament was fun even if we did take a beating.

I had a great time this weekend. Watched the new Thunder u9 team play a couple of games. It's always fun watching the younger ones play and they won a game against an older team. I think Chris and Matt learned a lot about our team. Even though we didn't win the tourney we battled hard and showed some bright spots. We found a future Fullback/Linebacker in Alex. Jimmy going off the deep end. I hope all the Turlock travel ball teams try and play together this summer. Hanging out together will be fun for this rookie.

We learned a lot and it was a great opportunity to see things we wouldn't have seen until after things got going in earnest. 46/60 is a completely different game and I now have an appreciation for the huge difference. It's almost a completely different game. Good luck to everyone.

NS did very well this week end. We were competitive in all 3 games. The ROCKERS were still upset from the last time Nick pitched against them, and they came at us with a FULL COURT PRESS, we did Ok...but we were reminded "THIS IS AIN 'T LITTLE LEAGUE" It gave the kids a chance to play together and helped the coaches get a look at the talent. We had a great time...now on to AS.

Contact for Ceres June 30 -July 4th tournament run by Ceres Youth Baseball is Jeff Borden. I do not have his phone number but if someone is interested, email me and I will get it with a phone call or two. Teams have until Tuesday night .
It might be good for the kids not playing all stars.
