Zach pitched a super game and hats off to the Yankees for blanking the Dodgers. As for the ace question, I think you need to get real Keith. I'm taking my foot out of my mouth but you seem to be inserting yours.
Nevertheless, it was great win and the Giants appreciate the Yankees help in grabbing a peice of first place.

It looked like the Dodgers didn't have their best game. The Yanks jumped on them early. The big unit made a great play at short to get ltl greenie who hit the ball hard. That look liked it took a little wind out of the Dodgers sails.
Congrats Yankees.

CHRIS, WHAT I WAS SAYING IS THAT THE YANKEES ARE NOT A 1 PITCHER TEAM. YOU GUYS THINK IF NICK ISNT PITCHING THEN THE YANKEES ARE IN TROUBLE. BY THE WAY THE KID WHO PITCHED (ZACH) DID SHUT DOWN RIVER PARK.

Hey bud he did a great job last and nothing I said was intended to reflect otherwise. He also shut down the Rangers when we faced him. You guys are deep in pitching - no argument there. Apparently he was the right guy for the job last night. I still think when you have the best pitcher in town its ok to refer to him as your ace.

Thanks Scrapper, we new we would need to bring our "A" game to the yard to beat the DODGERS, and we did---some outstanding baseball from our guy's. Gave our starter some run support and strong "D" he pitched a great game then got the ball to someone who could close the door in the 6th...Learned it all from STEINBRENOR
Good WIN...I'll take it

Zach threw a great game last night and got some run support to help the cause. Nick came in and threw serious gas in the closer role. Leadoff man got on base as he should, bunt him to second which you did and Zach has also been swinging a pretty hot bat as well. He won a battle and got a nice hit up the middle. These little things are what win games. Yes it helps to have dominating pitching as well but if you don't score you cannot win.....us Cardinals can attest to that. Nice job Zach and the rest of the Yankee team.

Every team is prone to have a bad game. The Dodgers picked the wrong day & wrong team to have theirs against. Better luck next time Can you please have another one when you play us? lol And thanks....you Dodgers almost scored there at the end but an excellent Yankee catcher wouldn't let the ball get away for Lopes get in for the run.

IT TAKES MORE THAN JUST A PITCHER TO WIN A GAME, THATS WHAT IM SAYING. PITCHING, HITTING AND FIELDING ALL CAME TOGETHER LAST NIGHT. TEAM VICTORY.
